The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are hiring a new staff member, and if you've ever wanted to work for the royal family, now's the time!
Kensington Palace is currently advertising a Diary Coordinator role, which requires the successful applicant to work closely with William and Kate in order to manage their "complex royal diaries".
The role, which is advertised on the official royal vacancies website, "will involve compiling and managing coordinated diary updates and weekly overviews".
The successful candidate for the job will obviously need to be extremely organised; according to the advertisement "a pro-active and flexible approach is required, as is the ability to use initiative and to work efficiently when under pressure, whilst prioritising a demanding workload."
The palace is also looking for someone who's a team player, as the job requires the candidate to work with the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, too.
Lastly – and maybe most importantly – the person will have "the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times is paramount." Which likely means you'll be privvy to all kinds of royal information, but you'll need to keep schtum about it – so no gossips!
The salary for the job has not been revealed, but royal salaries do tend to vary depending on the role. If you're keen to give it a go, you'd better get working on your application; the closing date is 22nd July.
