Kate Middleton's sell-out Me + Em dress is finally back by popular demand

Whenever Kate Middleton wears something from the high street, we take notice so you can bet we were excited to hear that a show-stopping Me + Em silk shirt dress that she wore in the spring is finally making a return...

The duchess wore the brand's bubblegum pink Colour Block Silk Shirt Dress + Belt for a very special engagement during the royal your of Scotland in May, and it immediately caught our eye.

Kate chose the statement dress for a very important reason, after promising five-year-old Mila Sneddon, a little girl who'd featured in her lockdown Hold Still photography competition, that they'd meet one day in person wearing pink dresses fit for princesses.

Usually, anything that Kate wears instantly sells out but, in this case, the Me + Em dress had already proven so popular with customers that it was no longer available when the duchess stepped out in it.

Me + Em has now confirmed to Red that they were flooded with customer requests to bring the dress back after Kate wore it and, finally, it's making a comeback.

The £450 Colour Block Silk Shirt Dress + Belt in the Sugar Pink/Bubblegum Pink shade is now available for pre-order and will officially be available to shop again from Friday (6 August), the brand explained.

It may be an investment, but the statement shirt dress is one of those pieces you could dress up or down for any occasion, from summer weddings and work, to more casual events teamed with a pair of classic white trainers, so you definitely won't struggle to get your 30 wears out of it.

We're betting it won't stick around for long so mark your calendars...
