Kate Middleton and Prince William have an Ikea bedroom set at Kensington Palace

In todays surprising celebrity housing news, it looks as though royalty is getting involved! Apparently Kate Middleton and Prince William have an Ikea bedroom set in their residence at Kensington Palace, and now we want one.

The couple live in apartment 1A inside Kensington Palace, which has been a hot topic of conversation ever since the pair moved their in mid-2017 following William's decision to leave the East Anglian Air Ambulance Service.

People have always been pretty fascinated by the apartment, especially after we got a sneak peak inside when the palace released images of Michelle and Barack Obama's state visit.

Well, after all this time wondering, we've now got a little bit more info about Apartment 1A. Reportedly Kate and William have had their children's bedrooms decked out with Ikea furniture sets, which means we're all that one step closer to living like royalty.

According to Hello! the Duchess of Cambridge had a conversation with Ikea's Head of Design during a 2018 visit to the National Museum of Architecture and Design in Stockholm, and told him they had decorated both Prince George's room and Princess Charlotte's room with Ikea bedroom sets

Well, it looks like it's time for us to trawl endlessly through the Ikea site until we can decipher which furniture the Cambridges have. We're this close to living like royalty!
