The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge began their first full day touring Pakistan on Tuesday morning.

The couple’s first engagement saw the couple arrive at the Islamabad Model School for Girls, which helps disadvantaged children before heading to Margalla Hills National Park.

Kate dressed diplomatically for the occasion, wearing a traditional shalwar kameez by local designer, Maheen Khan.

The embroidered kurta, trousers and matching scarf were paired with affordable accessories: most notably, a pair of £24 shoes from New Look.

The 37-year-old’s faux suede low block heels aren’t available on New Look’s website, but they are available to shop on ASOS.

They’re a wide-fit style, complete with an adjustable ankle fastening and a chunky heel. Perfect for matching with trousers, as the Duchess of Cambridge has, for work or for pairing with a dress for dinner - or wearing to a wedding.

Following the school visit, the Duchess subtly switched-up her footwear.

For a visit to the Margalla Hills National Park later that day, Kate was photographed sporting a far more practical pair of flats from one of her go-to British footwear labels: Russell & Bromley.

The mum-of-three opted for the brand’s Xpresso Blush Suede Crossover Flats, which she’s worn before. Kate debuted the smart footwear in 2016 during a visit to Salaam Baalak Trust in India.

Although the nude shoes are sold out, the style is still available to navy and black for £195.

Later that day, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan at his official residence, before attending an evening reception at Pakistan Monument.

The couple’s tour marks the first time in 13 years that a member of the British Royal Family has visited the country and the trip is at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall were the last royals to pay a visit back in 2006.
