As per Netflix's official logline of the series, the premise is as follows: 'When a scandal forces her brother to resign, Isla Gordon is appointed president of the Los Angeles Waves, one of the most storied professional basketball franchises, and her family business. Ambitious and often overlooked, Isla will have to prove to her sceptical brothers, the board, and the larger sports community that she was the right choice for the job. From the hit-making team of Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen, Running Point puts a bold twist on the underdog comedy.'
Who Is In The Cast Of Running Point?
The cast of Running Point includes a stellar line up, starting with Kate Hudson who plays the lead role as Isla Gordon. Most recently, the 45-year-old actor has starred in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022), A Little White Lie (2023), Shell (2024). Starring alongside her is Brenda Song who plays Ali Lee, the chief of staff to Kate Hudson's team president. During an interview, Song revealed that Hudson had shared some supportive advice on juggling life as a mother and actor, while working together on the project.
