Kate Beckinsale looks incredible with a totally different hairstyle
Kate Beckinsale just pulled a huge hair transformation out of her Santa sack. Gifting an early Christmas present to us all, the actor has swapped her signature long brunette look for a blonde bob that her stylist is calling a 'blob'. Thankfully, it looks anything but, and is the definition of chic.
Kate's long wavy bob comes courtesy of Dimitris Giannetos, the scissors behind many a celebrity hair switch-up – and it's one of his best yet.
The light honey blonde has a deeper biscuit root and falls to skim Kate's collarbones for a face-framing wash of gold. It's perfectly toned to enhance her complexion, rather than wash it out, as can happen when there's limited contrast between the skin and hair colour – though never on Dimitris' watch.
Sharing photos of his client's fresh style to Instagram, Dimitris revealed that he used ghd hair tools and Moroccanoil treatment oil to perfect her look.
Kate promptly took her new 'blob' out for dinner, sharing her own snaps in a post captioned: "Lovely intimate dinner dinner for #gheradofelloni, Creative Director of @rogervivier, hosted by @laurabrown99 and @kiernanshipka . Two girls' nights in a row. Lucky me."
We can't leave without also heaping praise on her fabulously festive red suit complete with matching platform heels and red lip. The whole thing is *chef's kiss*.
