Karlie Kloss welcomes her first child
Karlie Kloss has welcomed her first child with her husband Joshua Kushner.
Kushner announced the news on Instagram, captioning a sweet photo of their baby: “Welcome to the world.”
Towards the end of last year, Kloss announced that she was pregnant by posting a video that revealed her baby bump, writing "good morning baby".
At the time, a source close to the model told People that, "Karlie is overjoyed to be expecting her first child in 2021. She will be the most amazing mother."
Their pregnancy news came shortly after the couple celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary. The pair got married in October 2018 during an intimate Jewish ceremony in New York with fewer than 80 guests. The supermodel bride wore an elegant, custom-made Dior gown.
In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, the model discussed her more casual approach to style and how her life has been more low-key during lockdown.
"In quarantine, I have probably worn more sweatpants and leggings than ever in my life," she said. "I have definitely been embracing athleisure just as much as the rest of the world.”
She added that she's used the time, while pregnant, to find opportunities to be creative - such as launching a new athleisure collaboration with Adidas.
“At the moment we are all living in this virtual world and there is good and bad that comes with that of course, but I think there are new opportunities to be creative and to inspire,” she told us.
