Jude Law's son Rafferty is the spitting image of his dad in 90s prime
Jude Law, who famously starred in the iconic 1999 film The Talented Mr. Ripley, has a 27-year-old son named Rafferty who looks so much like his famous dad that you're sure to do a double-take.
Rafferty looked like he'd stepped back in time when he stepped out at The Bikeriders premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday, 17 June as he donned a loose-fitting pinstripe suit and slicked back hair that resembled his father's statement 90s look.
Jude, 57, became a Hollywood heartthrob back in the nineties after The Talented Mr Ripley, then his hit role in rom-com The Holiday in 2006 saw him skyrocket to hunky legendary status. His nonchalant style and effortless wardrobe saw women across the globe swoon.
Now it seems Rafferty, who is the oldest of Sadie Frost and Jude's three children, has appeared to take a leaf out of his dad's style book as he used hair gel to slick his luscious locks back and wore a scoop neck white T-shirt underneath his relaxed two-piece suit.
Jude is also known to love wearing a relaxed suit with a T-shirt as well as slim scarves. The acting legend is currently doing rounds of press for his new film Firebrand in which he plays Henry VIII opposite Alicia Vikander, who plays his sixth wife Catherine Parr).
But for this role, he had to change his look by growing a big bushy beard and wearing a prosthetic belly. However, when he's not in character, Jude looks like he has barely aged since The Talented Mr. Ripley came out in 1999.
"I look back on that film now, it's strange to think it was 25 years ago," Law recently told PEOPLE. "My eldest son Rafferty is 27, and I wasn't much older than he is. I think I was the same age, actually."
Rafferty has followed in Jude's footsteps with an acting career and most recently has been starring in Apple TV+'s war drama Masters of the Air as Sgt. Ken Lemmons. The nine-episode limited series is set in World War II and focuses on a squad of Air Force members valiantly combating the forces of Nazi Germany.
Rafferty, who also starred in Oliver Twist reboot, Twist, recently explained to Hunger Magazine why his famous mother and father are his 'main role models'. He told the publication: "My mum has always been a huge role model to me in how she treats people and her outlook on life…
"She’s very patient. My dad’s always been a huge role model, too. He’s like a best friend. We spent a lot of time just me and him when I was growing up – we’d go on all sorts of adventures."
Rafferty's mother Sadie met actor Jude while they were both working on hit film Shopping in 1994, and they quickly fell for one another. The couple welcomed son Rafferty, who was previously linked to TOWIE star Frankie Sims, in 1996, before going on to tie the knot in 1997.
Sadie and Jude then welcomed a daughter called Iris in 2000, followed by another son, Rudy, who was born in 2002. The famous pair's romance sadly came to an end not long after, and their divorce was finalised in October 2003.
Jude went on to date Sienna Miller for two years, before enjoying a brief romance with model Samantha Burke. Jude and Samantha share a daughter together, and the actor welcomed his fifth child in 2015 with Catherine Harding.
He married girlfriend Phillipa Coan in 2019, and she gave birth to Jude's sixth child in September 2020. Sadie shares son Finlay with ex-husband Gary Kemp, who she wed prior to meeting Jude.
