Jorge Prado Takes Hit in Practice Crash, Avoids Serious Injury
RacerX's Jason Weigandt confirmed that Monster Energy Kawasaki's Jorge Prado suffered a hard crash while testing last week, hitting his head but avoiding serious injury. He took a few days off from riding and missed the SMX media day at Angel Stadium but is already back cycling. Prado’s team wants him fully ready for Anaheim 1 next month, and he plans to resume riding next week.
"I had a crash last week and hit my head and my arm," Prado said. He also missed the FIM Gala, where he was to be honored as the 2024 MXGP Champion.
We'll post updates on this story as it unfolds.
