Jollibee Just Released a New Menu Item Fans Are Calling 'Better Than Raising Cane's'

Remember when the chicken sandwich wars hit social media by storm just a few years ago? Well it seems that a new chicken war has been emerging, and this time the chicken is in strip form. With new national chains such as Raising Cane’s and Dave’s Hot Chicken joining the ranks of known brands such as Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, and KFC, the food we once knew as a kid’s menu go-to, has become a celebration for adults. Even chains you wouldn’t even expect, take Taco Bell for instance, are hopping on the chicken train.

Well another chicken chain just joined the race: Jollibee. I've already declared this Filipino fried chicken chain home the best fried chicken in the USA (yes, even better than KFC), but now it seems it's coming to dethrone our beloved Raising Cane's with the announcement of Jollibee's brand new chicken tenders.

Jollibee Releases Chicken Tenders for the First Time Ever

Jollibee just launched its new hand-breaded chicken tenders. These 100% white meat tenders have been brined and covered in a light but crispy breading. It’s a mouth-watering option worthy enough to eat alongside the Chickenjoy chicken and spaghetti.

Don’t worry, the new chicken also comes with a brand new dipping sauce that fans on social media say “is giving [Raising] Cane’s.” The Signature Tender Sauce is zesty, creamy, and tangy, very reminiscent of a tastier thousand island dressing or a spiced aioli—the perfect pairing to the crispy chicken strips.

But if you aren’t a sauce lover, you can’t go wrong with dipping your tenders in the brands cult-favorite gravy.

The new chicken tenders are available at Jollibee locations nationwide in four different sizes: a 3-piece, 3-piece combo meal with a side and a drink, a 6-piece, or a 10-piece. Chicken tender lovers can now coexist with Chickenjoy loyalists in harmony.
