From Popeyes and Chick-fil-A to KFC and McDonald’s, every few months it seems like there's a new crispy chicken product in town, fueling the so-called fast food "chicken sandwich wars." But hey, as long as you don't end up with a soggy sandwich (we’re looking at you McD’s McCrispy) then every chicken sandwich is a win in our book.

Jollibee’s Buy One Get One Free Sandwich

Jollibee is the biggest fast food chain in the Philippines and it’s slowly making its way to North America. Its menu features your standard fast food haunts like fried chicken, burgers, and fries to items that are more oriented to Filipino cuisine like Filipino spaghetti. However, it’s best known for its crispy fried chicken.

And if you haven't had the chance to try out Jollibee just yet, then perhaps there's no better time to do so than now. On Nov. 9, which is National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day, Jollibee will be offering a buy one get one free promotion on its chicken sandwiches through its loyalty program. There are no hoops to jump through, just add two chicken sandwiches to your cart—your choice of regular or spicy—and one of them will be free when you check out.

Both sandwiches come with a crispy hand-breaded chicken breast on a brioche bun. The regular version has umami mayo, while the spicy version has sriracha mayo and jalapeños. Both sound like they are worth running to the closet Jollibee and doing a taste test to see how these sandwiches fare in the ongoing chicken sandwich wars.
