John Lewis's 'excellent value' gas BBQ is on sale and cheaper than ever
While the sun may be sporadically shining at the moment, before we know it we'll be digging out the BBQ, pouring the Pimms and dining al fresco. If your BBQ has seen better days and you're searching for a new one on a budget, there are some great high street options available, including several models from John Lewis's affordable own brand.
There are seven BBQs in the John Lewis & Partners collection, ranging from hybrid gas and charcoal design for £1,099, to three very affordable charcoal BBQs all under £500, the most highly rated of which is the mid-range £319 BBQ, which is currently on sale, reduced by 15% to £271.15. But, you'll have to hurry as the deal only lasts until 4 April.
The 3-Burner Gas BBQ can cook food for up to six people, which is ideal for families and small summer gatherings.

To fuel the gas barbecue, John Lewis recommend propane or patio gas cylinder bottles ranging in sizes from 3kg to 13kg. The hose and clip-on propane regulator are included with the BBQ.
John Lewis recommends using a cover to protect the BBQ all year around, and luckily the brand has created a custom cover just for the BBQ for £39, which is waterproof, strong and features taped seams for better protection.
It's worth noting that some assembly is required with this BBQ, which John Lewis say is a two-person job that takes around 90 minutes. However, scrolling through the reviews, shoppers say it's "very easy to assemble".
If you don't want to deal with the fuss you can pay an extra £40 for 'BBQ assembly', which includes installation and disposal of your old BBQ. One shopper said it was "money well spent" and we'd have to agree.
