John Krasinski laughs off Amy Schumer's 'sham' marriage gag
John Krasinski has shaken off Amy Schumer's stinging remark about his 'sham' marriage by playing along with the joke.
The Trainwreck star took to Instagram over the weekend to rave about his film A Quiet Place Part II, which stars his wife Emily Blunt.
"I loved every second of @aquietplacemovie even better than the first one which blew me away," Schumer wrote. "Amazing to be in a movie theater!!
"I've said for a long time I think Emily and John have a pretend marriage for publicity. But I still think you should see it this rainy weekend."
Krasinski, who wrote and directed the film, responded by stating: "Thank you Amy...! for blowing up our whole marriage spot."
Krasinski wed Blunt in 2010 and the couple shares two daughters – Hazel, seven, and Violet, five.
Schumer also checked out Emma Stone's new Disney film Cruella over the weekend and offered her critique, writing: "It's well known Emma Stone is a toxic person but @disneycruella is amazing!!"
