Jodie Turner-Smith just wore the most bizarre jewellery on the red carpet and we are inspired

2023 is the year of Jodie Turner-Smith – you heard it here first. Over the course of awards season, the White Noise actress' red carpet style game has been truly unparalleled. We fell hard for her achingly cool crystal freckles worn to the BAFTAs, and then she impressed us with her resplendent harlequin patterned Oscars gown. Awards season may have come and gone, but rest assured, Jodie hasn't dropped the ball, not in the slightest.

The Anne Boleyn star rocked up to the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix's Murder Mystery 2 wearing a gilded ensemble that stopped us in our tracks. 'Seeing is believing' was the vibe, and Jodie executed her unspoken theme with the utmost flair.

The 36-year-old looked utterly divine in a gold double-breasted coat dress which cinched in at the waist and extended out into a voluminous wide circle skirt. The lustrous woven piece was embedded with sequins and bulbous shiny button adornments. The design featured rounded lapels and a clean, feminine silhouette that had an unmistakably vintage feel about it.

Jodie's statement dress came courtesy of Italian luxury label Schiaparelli. Known for its lavishly surrealist aesthetic, the brand bestowed upon Jodie a certain 'third eye' energy that had us completely hooked.

The actress, who also worked as a model, wore statement optical-inspired jewellery: a green and gold wide span ring featuring a piercing eye motif and matching dangly earrings. She was giving elevated Mike Wazowski – and why not?

Move over dainty chains and understated pavé bands, for right now surrealist jewellery has captured our hearts (and invaded our wish lists).

Jodie styled her outlandish jewels alongside a compact afro, very Pam Grier, and had an air of 1970s It-girl about her. She topped off her look with green chrome nails and black pumps adorned with gold lock-shaped detailing.
