Jodie Comer looks elegant in black tailored suit
Jodie Comer looked amazing as she attended the 2023 Drama Desk Awards on Thursday, 6 June.
Attending the awards event, which took place at Sardi's, New York, Jodie looked incredible in a black tailored look. Always one to look glamorous, the Killing Eve actress opted for a tailored suit, making for an elegant ensemble. Her look was comprised of three parts, a blazer, waistcoat and trousers — all in an elegant black design with subtle pinstripes.
The actress also sported a stunning hair and beauty look. She wore her signature blonde tresses in a waved style and opted for subtle makeup — composed of a slightly shimmering eye and pink/coral lip.
And, Jodie's stunning outfit choice wasn't her only success of the night. The actress was nominated for Outstanding Solo Performance for her role in Prima Facie at The Drama Desk Awards — which aim to recognise excellence in New York Theatre — and she took home the trophy! In photos, Jodie was seen with a proud smile on her face as she posed with her prestigious award.
Jodie is currently on Broadway, New York, starring in Prima Facie. This comes after a transfer from the play's sell-out run on the West End in London.
A synopsis of the play explains that Jodie stars "as Tessa, a young brilliant barrister who loves to win.
"She has worked her way up from working class origins to be at the top of her game; defending; cross examining and lighting up the shadows of doubt in any case. An unexpected event forces her to confront the lines where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof and morals diverge."
