Nottingham Forest have presented a bagful of gifts to a pub landlady after her 'free pint for every goal' offer backfired when the team won 7-0. Beccy Webster was left red-faced and £1,500 out of pocket after The Reds romped to their emphatic victory against Brighton on Saturday (1/2). She was forced to give away 300 pints at the Gedling Inn, in Nottingham, after admitting an 'own goal' with her offer of a free drink every time Forest scored. It meant customers were able to get a fresh top-up every 13 minutes across 90 minutes as the Seagulls were dismantled by Nuno Espírito Santo's men. Today (Tue) club legend John McGovern, 75, who captained the side which won the European Cup twice under Brian Clough, paid a visit to the boozer. On behalf of the high-flying Premier League club he gifted her a signed Forest shirt, two tickets to the Manchester City game next month and a complimentary stadium tour. Sharing half a pint of Guinness with Beccy, the former midfielder said the club had wanted to give "something back" to the family-run business. He presented Beccy with the gifts, which included a shirt signed by the men's squad with Gedling Inn and the number 7 on the back. Beccy, 37, said: "It's amazing as we're all massive Forest fans.
