Jesy Nelson praised by fans for sharing she's gained a stone while 'living my best life'
Jesy Nelson has been praised by fans for being open about her weight gain over the past few months.
Sharing a photograph of herself at a video shoot on Instagram, the Little Mix singer, 29, wrote in the caption: “I currently look nothing like this atm [at the moment] just so you all know.”
In the candid post, she also shared a more recent photograph and revealed she has put on a stone since the first photo was taken.
“I’m a stone heavier since making this video from eating whatever the f*** I’ve wanted and living my best life,” she said.
“For any of you struggling mentally with how you feel about yourselfs [sic] right now just know I’m there with ya with my podgy belly and chubby cheeks,” Nelson added.

People praised Nelson for her positive - and very real - approach to her body.
In the post she continued: “Remember we’re all human and we all have our good days and bad days and days when we feel banging and other days when we feel absolutely rotten and that’s ok.
“You’re all beautiful in you’re [sic] own unique ways and there is no one in the world like you and that is what makes us special.”
Fans commented in their thousands, applauding the singer for her honesty.
“Everyone is human and we all change weights, us women should stick together instead of tearing each other apart for something so normal,” one popular comment said.
“I didn’t realise how much I needed this, thank you so much,” another added.

This isn’t the first time that Nelson has served up a refreshing dose of reality, having recently admitted she “doesn’t have abs”, but she sometimes gets little indents by simply breathing in.
In the post, that has been viewed more than one million times, Nelson said: “I always get a lot of people comment on my abs in photos but I promise you I actually don’t have abs lol.
“I’m here to tell you I DON’T have abs ladies and this is what my chocolate loving belly really looks like.”
With Scarlett Moffatt recently sharing the mental health battle she faced after body shaming, posts like this from Nelson go a long way to promote body positivity among fans.
“You have no idea how much you’ve helped me,” one woman shared.
