Jessica Simpson and Her Lookalike Daughter Birdie Wore Matching Swimsuits and Cowboy Boots
Simpson's youngest child is already following in her fashionista footsteps.
When your mom has built a billion-dollar fashion empire, you take her style advice. It's that simple. And it appears to be a lesson that Jessica Simpson's youngest daughter, Birdie Mae, has already learned at just 5 years old.
On Wednesday, Simpson was joined by her mini-me in her latest campaign for her Jessica Simpson Collection at Walmart. In a video reel promoting the new pieces on Instagram, the singer and Birdie took their twinning status to the next level, modeling matching creamsicle-colored swimsuits and coordinating cowboy boots.
Holding hands while dancing outside, Simpson and Biride showed off their mother-daughter style in light orange one-piece bathing suits. Simpson's featured a plunging neckline with scalloped trim and an underwire bra, while Birdie wore a kid-friendly version that came with a cutout at the stomach and a ruffled bodice and bottoms. They both accessorized with a pair of cowboy boots, with Simpson wearing a heeled red pair and her daughter opting for a pale pink set.
Simpson finished off her beach-ready look with a pink-and-purple striped coverup, a stack of gold bangles on each of her wrists, and her signature platinum blonde hair styled in textured waves. "New season, new styles! Our latest collection available exclusively at @walmart," the multi-hyphenate captioned her post.
In addition to Birdie, Simpson also is a mom to daughter Maxwell "Maxi" Drew, 12, and son, Ace Knute, 11, whom she shares with her estranged husband, Eric Johnson. Earlier this month, the former couple announced that they were separating after 10 years of marriage.
"Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage," Simpson previously shared in a statement. "Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family."
