Jessica Chastain sparkles in sequin gown at the Oscars
Jessica Chastain looked sensational in a sequin gown while attending the 95th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, 12 March.
The 45-year old actress looked the very picture of Hollywood glamour as she took to the red carpet in a sequin look by design house, Gucci. The star chose a gown that was composed of silver sequins to make for a dazzling ensemble. To perfectly complement the sequin attire, her gown also took advantage of black detailing around the neckline and a show-stopping black velvet train — in addition to showcasing a classic silhouette and a plunging neckline for a truly glamorous look.
To pair with her gown, Jessica opted for a stunning makeup look composed of a copper smokey eye and black eyeliner. She paired this with a classic bold red lip for a style that looked effortlessly at home on the red carpet. She wore her signature red hair down and in a loose wave.
At the ceremony itself, Jessica teamed up with iconic actress Halle Berry to present the awards for both Best Actor and Best Actress in a Leading Role. This came after Jessica took home the award for Best Actress at the Oscars last year (2022) for her role in The Eyes of Tammy Faye. Teaming up with Halle, both actresses looked elegant and glamorous in their chosen looks. Halle opted for a white gown with floral detailing that boasted both a plunging neckline and a side split skirt. She wore her signature, cropped hair in a curled style.
