Jess Wright issues five-word statement as brother Mark and wife Michelle Keegan share baby news
As Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have revealed they are expecting their first child, one person who couldn't be happier for the couple is the latter's sister, Jess Wright. Following former TOWIE star Mark's joint announcement with actress Michelle, mum-of-one Jess shared her thoughts on the news via a five-word Instagram Story on Sunday (29 December).
Re-sharing Mark and Michelle's post - a sweet picture of Michelle cradling her bump on a beach - Jess simply wrote "Finally the news is out" with a love heart and face emoji. Jess, 39, is the eldest of four children, with younger brother Mark, 37, in the middle before youngest brother Josh, 35, and sister Natalya, 24.
Mark and Michelle's new arrival will be surrounded by cousins, as Mark's siblings have welcomed children of their own in recent years. Jess is mum to two-year-old son Presley, who she shares with husband William Lee Kemp. While his brother, Josh, has two sons; Joshua Jr, who was born in February 2022, and Dustin, who he and wife Hollie Kane welcomed a year later.

Josh also shared his happiness over Mark's baby news following the announcement, commenting on Mark and Michelle's post: "Over the moon for you both and can’t wait for our boys to meet your little one" before re-sharing the post to his own Story with two love heart emojis.
Meanwhile, doting aunt Natalya also re-shared the post to her page, writing: "The best news to end this year, I'm going to be an auntie again". With Mark and Jess both previous staples in The Only Way Is Essex, the family are no strangers to the limelight, and their parents Carol and Mark Sr. have made their fair share of appearances on the small screen too.
Taking to Instagram following her son's announcement, Carol was clearly excited to become a grandparent once again. She wrote: "Super excited being grandma again. My heart is full of excitement. Xxx @michkeegan @wrighty_ can’t wait to meet the new bubba. Xxx"
The family are no doubt excited for Mark and Michelle's little one to be added to the brood, with three cousins already to play with. With three boys already, Jess previously shared she and mum Carol are hoping for a girl to be born into the family.
[Carol] is totally obsessed with her grandchildren – and I mean obsessed! She’s got three grandkids now – all boys. I think we’re all hoping for a girl to spoil at some point!" Jess told OK! earlier this year.
And the grandchildren may not stop there, as Jess has previously admitted she hasn't decided whether she wants any more children or not. She said: "I honestly don’t know. I get asked that every day, and I don’t know. At the minute, I can say I’m happy as we are."
