Jerry Lee Lewis dead at 87

AP reports that Lewis died on Oct. 28 at his home in Mississippi. Lewis was one of the last surviving performers of a generation that included colossal entertainers like Elvis, Chuck Berry and Little Richard. He was best known for his explosive stage presence and ego. 'Great Balls of Fire' and 'Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On' were definitive records of the era. Lewis was on track to be a king of rock n' roll, but news soon surfaced that he had married his 13-year-old cousin, Myra Gale Brown.
