Jennifer Lawrence Changes Into a Gold Velvet Dress for the Globes After-Party at Chateau Marmont

The most fun parts about awards shows, in order: red carpet gowns, awkward exchanges between celebs, your favorites winning, The Official Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet Kiss Cam (kay, that's kinda just a one-time thing), and everyone's after-party looks. And the 2024 Golden Globes did not disappoint.

Multiple nominees / winners attended the after-party at Chateau Marmont, including Jennifer Lawrence who arrived in an entirely new outfit. Reminder, here's what Jennifer wore on the red carpet—a custom velvet Dior gown accessorized with Tiffany & Co jewels:

And she kept the velvet vibes going during the after-party, wearing a statuesque gold gown with a jacket—while her husband, Cooke Maroney, wore a chic black suit.

Jennifer was up for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, and jokingly mouthed "If I don't win, I'm leaving" when the camera landed on her:

The award went to her close friend Emma Stone, and truly Jennifer could not have been more excited:

Though honestly the highlight of Jennifer at the Golden Globes was her discussing the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City finale. "I just want to give a shoutout to the best finale I have ever seen on reality TV," she said, adding that "I was a couple days late, I have the group chats, and I was like water cooler, I have to see this now. I was stone cold sober because I was starving for this event. I was jaw dropped."
