It's the reunion that melted the collective heart of Sex And The City fans the world over. Sixteen years after Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Hudson starred together as the titular Carrie Bradshaw and Louise from St. Louis, fans have been clamouring them to reunite and finally, at long last, they have - and in front of an illuminated Eiffel Tower at the 2024 Paris Olympics no less.

Hudson was first initiated into the world of our favourite four Manhattanites in 2008 when she starred in the first SATC feature film as Carrie Bradshaw's bright-eyed and bushy-tailed assistant, Louise. As Carrie grapples with her split from Big, she finds solace in the sweetness of Louise, who introduces Carrie to the world of designer bag rentals before heading back to her hometown sweetheart—leaving behind an organised inbox and some restored faith in love, while Carrie, in turn, gives Louise the gift of her very own Louis Vuitton bag.
Fans were quick to flock to the comment section of the post to beg for Hudson to make a cameo in the SATC sequel, And Just Like That, which is currently filming its third season. 'Queens,' one user wrote, while another commented, 'Louise😍…“My very own Louis Vuitton?” A cameo please🙏♥️.'
