Jeff Brazier melts hearts with Bobby and Freddie throwback - as fans all say the same thing
Jeff Brazier has melted his fans' hearts with a sweet throwback photo of his sons Bobby and Freddie, as his Instagram followers gushed over the snap.
TV star Jeff, 44, has played a prominent role in his sons' lives, after their mother, Jade Goody, sadly passed away from ovarian cancer in 2009, aged just 27. Jeff and Jade were not in a relationship at the time of her death.
On Tuesday, 16 April, he took to Instagram to share an old photo of his sons, the older of whom is Bobby Brazier, 20, star of EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing in 2023. Bobby's younger brother, Freddie, is 19 years old.
In the caption, Jeff wrote: "I had to explain to Bob last night that the reason I just smile every time I see either of them is because this is what I see in front of me. I mean I see the men they’re becoming but mainly I just see my babies.
"I guess it’ll never not impress me that something so small and cute can grow into something so big and strong in what feels like a heartbeat but still retain that innocence and wonder."
Jeff's followers rushed to comment on the post, as one gushed: "Beautiful boys amazing men," whilst a second also said "beautiful boys" and added a number of heart-eye emojis.
Many praised Jeff's skills as a father, as one commented: "2 amazing boys are now 2 exceptional young men thanks to an amazing dad who has done an amazing job bringing them up," as another wrote: "I clearly don’t personally know either of your boys, but I can clearly see that they are an absolute credit to you. So polite, well mannered and kind. And they obviously love you so much. What more do we want as parents? X"
Jeff has been married to his wife, Kate, 34, since 2018. The pair briefly split in 2022, but they reunited seven months later, and she's sure to have been instrumental in his sons' lives.
Kate and Jeff don't have any children of their own, and earlier this year, Kate opened up on her decision to not become a biological mother. Sharing an emotive message to her Instagram page, Kate wrote: "Hi everyone I'm Kate. I'm 34 years old. The thought of turning 35 terrifies me and I don't know why.
"I've been with my husband for a decade and I'm a step mum to two boys. Marriage is my greatest teacher and the work we have done together is the thing I'm most proud of."
She continued: "I don't think I want children of my own. For a long time I felt I couldn't say that out loud for fear of judgement.
"My 10 year old bulldog Mabel is my greatest joy. I think dogs are the purest souls on this planet and humans are lucky to have them."
Continuing to reflect on herself, Kate wrote: "I'm an introverted extrovert. Big groups overwhelm me, but you probably wouldn't know it. I need 1-2 Kate days every week to recharge.
"My toxic trait is putting used matches back in the box. I have had a phobia of sick most of my life. There is not a tube journey I go on where I don't panic about someone throwing up."
She finished: "Speed reading is my meditation and super power. Reading a book or two a day on holiday is my idea of absolute heaven."
