Jamie Lee Curtis says these eye masks are ‘very soothing’
As much as we love some budget-friendly skincare finds, sometimes it feels nice to treat ourselves to something truly luxurious. When you're ready to upgrade your at-home spa treatment, take a cue from none other than Jamie Lee Curtis, who says she uses Peter Thomas Roth’s Hydra-Gel Eye Patches — they’re even on sale right now at Amazon!
The star shared an Instagram post of herself enjoying some on-set R&R while sporting these 24k gold-infused under-eye masks, designed to reduce puffiness and diminish the appearance of fine lines. Gifted to her by none other than Curtis’ co-star (and on-screen daughter) Lindsay Lohan, the hydrating treatments use ingredients like caffeine, hydrolyzed collagen, and hyaluronic acid.
“I’ve been having a really good time at work on FREAKY FRIDAY 2 and my exceptional partner in switching Lindsay Lohan noticed that I was maybe needing a little pick me up and gave me some Peter Thomas Roth eye thingies,” Curtis shared in her Instagram caption. “Whether or not they ‘flip it and reverse it’ from a visual standpoint, they make me laugh and they’re very soothing to wear.”
To use, simply remove a patch from the jar with the included spatula and press one underneath each eye. Leave the patches on for at least 10 to 15 minutes, discard them, and gently pat the remaining serum into your skin. Pro tip: store them in the fridge to soothe tired eyes with an instant cooling sensation.
Curtis isn’t the only famous fan of Peter Thomas Roth eye masks, either. Supermodel Iman also swears by the 24k gold patches, while Taraji P. Henson is partial to the brand’s hyaluronic eye masks. Plus, these masks are also popular among Amazon shoppers, with hundreds of five-star reviews:
“Who doesn’t want to feel fancy with a little gold under their eyes each morning?” wrote one happy shopper. “Even better, they have a noticeable impact on puffiness and fine lines. I use these daily and [my] eyes always feel nice and moisturized.”
We understand that $75 for a skincare product is quite the splurge, so we’ve rounded up some similar under-eye masks that won’t break the bank. Below, shop budget-friendly alternatives to Jamie Lee Curtis’ gold eye patches, starting at just $16.
