Jamie Laing and wife Sophie Habboo baffled as thieves leave two items in their car
Former Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo were left scratching their heads after thieves left two unusual items in their car after raiding it.
Jamie told BBC Radio 1 listeners that the couple had left their vehicle parked near to their London home last week. But when they arrived back at the car, they found its door was left slighty ajar.
It was then the husband and wife duo realised their vehicle had been targeted by thieves. Speaking with co-hosts Vick Hope and Katie Thistleton, Jamie revealed the raiders then left two unusual items on the car seats.

He explained "So, I live in London, I was with my wife Sophie and we went to get in our car. It's parked around the place we live, and it's London right, things maybe go missing occasionally or whatever.
"I walked up to the car, and the car looked a little bit funny, the door was slightly open, and I was like, 'hang on a second, has someone managed to get into the car?' Came up to the car and we had been robbed."
He added: "My grandmother gave me a bowl for Christmas and I had taken it out of the car. Everything was gone, but whoever had done it had left us a pineapple and a melon.
"They left the pineapple in one seat and the melon in another seat. I said to my wife, 'did you leave these in the car?' and she was like, 'no?', so I don't know if it's a sign or the mark they leave."
To add to the mystery, Jamie admitted that he toyed with the idea of eating the pineapple but recoiled at the idea, dubbing it "so eerie". Radio 1's audience chimed in with their theories about the fruit-bearing burglars' motif.
One listener said: "They're clearly the fruit bandits now", referencing the infamous Wet Bandits from the classic comedy film Home Alone. While another said it could have been a suggestion for a flavour of sweets, a nod to Jamie's Candy Kittens company.
IIt isn't the only run-in Jamie and Sophie have had with raiders recently. The pair revealed their flat was targeted by an attempted burglar last week.
Jamie said: "It was actually one of the scariest things has ever happened to me. At 5.45a.m. I heard this like boom boom boom, boom boom boom, boom boom boom, I was like 'what the hell is that' because Sophie isn't waking up next to me."
Jamie says he was "buttnaked" at the time as he went to investigate the noise. It was then he discovered someone trying to break into the flat below them, he explained on their Newlyweds podcast.
The former Made in Chelsea star says he called 999 and then decided to lie in front of their locked front door to act "like a door wedge" should the raider try and access their flat.
Sophie, 30, explained "10 policemen" turned up in "two vans". She praised the "amazing" response.
