Jamie Laing makes shocking confession about sex with wife Sophie Habboo
Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing has made a very candid confession about his performance in the bedroom, as he admitted to being 'lazy"'when it comes to having sex with his wife, Sophie Habboo.
The reality TV couple-turned podcasters have been married for one year. They tied the knot in London before jetting off to Spain with their friends and family for a second, more extravagant day a month later. The pair celebrated their anniversary on Sunday 14 April but Jamie, 35, has revealed that he has 'got worse' in the bedroom since he married Sophie, 30.
During an interview with The Sun On Sunday, Jamie admitted: “Sophie did say I was bog standard at sex and that is probably a fair description. You get worse as you get married. You become lazy.
He continued: “I used to start doing joined-up handwriting then I thought, ‘I can’t be bothered with that as it’s quicker for me to not do it joined up’, I’m a bit like that in the bedroom. I don’t give up halfway but I do remember that once I rolled on top of Sophie and she said, ‘Oh, get on with it’.”
Jamie also confessed he and Sophie see a marriage counsellor and they have therapy which they go to every other week to bring them ‘self-awareness’.
He said: “You’ve got to communicate forever, otherwise these things boil up, and going to therapy gives us the best chance of surviving this up-and-down life we’re going to have. So twice a month we sit down for an hour, and I’ve learned lots of lessons."
Jamie then admitted that the counselling has led him to discover that "most of the time my wife is right" before he sweetly said that he is "very lucky" to be married to her due to the fact that his "brain is all over the place 24/7.”
Jamie and Sophie first met on the E4 reality show, Made in Chelsea, they started off as friends before they started dating during the South Africa series in 2019.
After two years of dating, Jamie proposed at the Rosewood hotel where they had their first date. The pair announced their news on Instagram with Sophie wearing a white cap with the writing ‘Mrs Laing-to-be’ on top.
Jamie posted the picture with the caption: "I couldn’t think of anything better than spending the rest of my life with you @habboosophie," followed by a ring emoji and a love heart emoji.
Jamie and Sophie started the Newlyweds podcast to document the highs and lows of planning a wedding. Since tying the knot last year, the pair have continued to host the podcast with a plethora of guests from James Buckley, to Abbey Clancy, Peter Crouch and Spencer Matthews.
Now, the pair host podcast Newlyweds together and are currently on tour, performing their live show all over the UK.
