Jaden Smith has taken to social media to congratulate his ‘boyfriend’ Tyler, the Creator following his win at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

On Sunday, January 26 the rapper won the award for Best Rap Album for Igor and took to the stage with his mother to thank fellow singer Pharrell Williams and open up about never feeling 'never felt fully accepted in rap'.

Moments after the win was announced, the 21-year-old took to Twitter to praise the 28-year-old’s latest triumph.

‘My Boyfriend Just Won A Grammy,’ Smith tweeted.

The singers have long teased fans with a possible romance on social media, yet have never officially confirmed whether they were an item. A couple or not, we love this level of support between musicians.

In November 2018, the son of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith took to the stage at the Camp Flog Naw festival in California and was filmed telling his fans: ‘I just wanna say Tyler, the Creator is the best friend in the world and I love him so f***ing much, and I wanna tell you guys something.

‘Tyler doesn't wanna say, but Tyler is my motherf*cking boyfriend, and he's been my motherf*cking boyfriend my whole motherf*cking life. It's true! Tyler is my boyfriend.’

The singer later tweeted in a now deleted post: ‘Yup @tylerthecreator I told everyone you can't deny it now.’

Smith later reiterated his original statement during an appearance on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio in 2018.

‘I recently said that Tyler, the Creator is my boyfriend, and that’s true,’ Smith said. ‘So, just so you know.’

Jaden has never commented on his sexuality, but has spoken about gender fluid dressing over the years.

‘The world is going to keep bashing me for whatever I do and I’m going to keep not caring,’ he previously told Nylon.

‘I’m going to take most of the blows… so you know, in five years when a kid goes to school wearing a skirt, he won’t get beat up and kids won’t get mad at him. It just doesn’t matter. I’m taking the brunt of it so that later on, my kids and the next generations of kids will all think that certain things are normal that weren’t expected before my time.’

In 2017, Tyler rapped the line ‘I been kissing white boys since 2004’ on his track titled ‘I Ain’t Got Time’ yet has never addressed his sexuality.
