Jade Thirlwall revealed which Little Mix song brings back "bad memories"

Jade Thirlwall has opened up about which Little Mix song brings back "bad memories", and it's all to do with her time on The X Factor.

Revealing which Little Mix dance moves she'd like to get rid of, Jade told Smallzy's Celebrity Small Talk, "Probably the Shout Out To My Ex [dance moves], the ex bit with the hands," (via The Mirror).

As for the season why she dislikes the dance move, Jade went on to explain that it's because it reminds her of her original X Factor audition, with the singer trying out for the show in both 2008 and then 2011 when Little Mix was formed.

She explained, "I get it, but it reminds me of when I auditioned for X Factor and the camera people were like, 'Do this with your arms and say, I've got the X Factor'. It brings back bad memories of that."

Reminiscing over their time on the show, Jade admitted that she and her Little Mix bandmates still haven't watched back all of their old X Factor performances.

"I feel it would be quite hilarious to watch back all our X Factor performances, because there are some God-awful ones, and some really horrific outfits," she continued.

Still, Jade went on to says she feels "very lucky" that Little Mix are going strong 10 years after their appearance on the show, explaining:

"I feel like when we first got put together it felt like it was big, and it was special, and it was going to be successful. But I don't know if I thought we'd still be doing this in 10 years, and still be really happy together, and enjoying the process. Not many pop artists can say that, so we feel very lucky."

Little Mix have previously opened up about their experience on The X Factor, ahead of launching their own show The Search.

Discussing lessons learnt during The X Factor, Jade revealed, "The after care is essential – that’s the difference between wanting to get on the stage again."

"Whether they get through or not, our team call them up for a while to see how they’re doing. We’ll support everyone because we’ve been through a similar experience and probably could have benefited from a bit more support along the way," she explained during an interview with The Mirror.
