Jac Jossa fearful over Gabby Allen entering Love Island for one big reason
Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne have had their fair share of trials and tribulations during their seven-year marriage, and appear to have come out stronger. But now, a source has told us, the pair are worried another spanner could be thrown in the works by Love Island star Gabby Allen, who Dan was previously rumoured to have had an affair with – something they both denied. Gabby, 32, has returned to TV for Love Island: All Stars this month, and our source said Jac, 32, is worried she could address the previous speculation surrounding her and 33-year-old Dan – and bring back all that hurt again.
“Jacqueline has tried her best to forget about the rumours around Dan and Gabby as it caused them so much pain at the time, and she decided to give things with Dan another go and move on from it all. They have got stronger over the years and are in a really happy place. So the fact Gabby is back on Love Island is hard for her to accept as she knows it will be dragged up again and there will be speculation about her marriage to Dan,” they claimed.
Dan and Gabby were seen looking close on a group retreat in Marbella in 2018, which sparked speculation that a romance had formed between them, despite Dan marrying EastEnders star Jac a year earlier. The duo were accused of having an affair by Gabby’s ex Marcel Somerville, who she met on Love Island in 2017 and has awkwardly been reunited with on the ITV show this week.

Denying the claims, Gabby was forced to reassure Jac that nothing had gone on, saying, “I’m NEVER going to sleep with a married man. Ever. I’ve seen it happen to my friends, to family, I’ve been cheated on so badly before. It is not worth it.”
And last week Gabby told a newspaper of the scandal, “It’s like that was a long time ago and we knew each other for a very short amount of time and that was it.” She added of Jac and Dan, “I just hope that, like, that doesn’t cause issues for, like, them because it was a very long time. I feel like everybody’s moved on and I hope they’re really happy.”
While Dan admitted he could see why Jac wasn’t pleased about the Marbella trip with Gabby, during which pictures of the pair looking cosy on a yacht were circulated. “A picture can be anything, it looked bad. I understood when Jacqueline wasn’t happy about it and there was some speculation,” Dan said at the time.
He said, “We all got on really well, but just as friends, and nothing happened [with Gabby].” Matters weren’t helped when Gabby and Dan both appeared on Celebrity Big Brother later that year, and found themselves dodging a friendship to keep rumours at bay.
It’s not the only time Dan has been accused of infidelity. He issued a public apology in 2019 following cheating allegations. However, Dan and Jac, who share daughters Ella, nine, and Mia, six, appear to have got through their marital woes. And they’re keen to tread carefully while Gabby is in the villa, the source added.
“Jacqueline knows that if she posts loved-up pictures of her and Dan, people will say she’s trying to prove they’re OK. Her main worry is that Gabby starts talking about Dan.” Despite this potential latest setback, Dan and Jac have proved they don’t crack easily.
