J Lo shares video of rarely seen twins on their 17th birthday – and Emme is a mini of her mum
While Jennifer Lopez might be a music legend and Hollywood star, she's proved that she's just like the rest of us when it comes to gushing over her kids.
Taking to Instagram, J Lo shared an adorable video of her twins Max and Emme growing up alongside her over the years to mark their latest birthday. On Sunday (23 February), the star's children turned 17 years old and, watching the video, we couldn't help but notice just how similar her daughter Emme looked to her mum.
In the video, we see a wide range of moments from the twins' childhoods, right from being sleeping newborn babies and even as toddlers backstage at J Lo's show. In one clip, Emme can be seen on stage singing alongside her mum, while other close up selfies of the pair reveal their striking resemblance.
Other sweet moments in the compilation show simpler moments, like the children cooking together, relaxing in bed and listening to music at home. Emme can also be seen spinning in a tutu while Max proudly shows off a freshly caught fish in his hands in a later still. The video also opens on the trio on a garden tyre swing together, looking the picture of domesticity.
In a caption alongside the sweet tribute Jennifer wrote simply, "Seventeen. I love you beyond forever" with two coconut emojis.
When the twins were younger, J Lo would occasionally bring them with her on public outings but, as they grew older and became teenagers, the pair have stayed further out of the spotlight.
This video gives a rarely seen glimpse into their upbringing and Jennifer's home and family life, away from the glitz and glamour of the showbiz world outside of it.
J Lo gave birth Max and Emme in 2008 when she was married to singer and actor Marc Anthony between 2004 and 2014. In 2022, Jennifer married former flame Ben Affleck, although the pair divorced a couple of years later and went their separate ways last year.
