Jennifer Lopez, star of new movie Marry Me, showcased a case of life meeting Art as she arrived for a special premiere screening in LA wearing a vey bridal look.

The white lace thigh-length dress, from Giambattista Valli's 'love' collection turned heads as she arrived in loved-up style with partner Ben Affleck, and the pair embraced on the red carpet, with Affleck even pressing an adoring kiss on her forehead.

JLo accessorised the virginal look with a gold Dolce and Gabbana clutch, crystal Jimmy Choo stilettoes, and a pair of gold Dior earrings. Her outfit was created with fashion stylist Rob Zangardi, who works with A -listers including Gwen Stefani, Hailee Steinfeld, Cara Delevingne, Rachel McAdams and Lily Collins, among others.

Posting her look to Instagram, JLo added an engagement ring emoji and 'it's finally coming' - and while some fans are obviously hoping for a double meaning, with a real-life wedding in the offing, so far the freshly-rekindled couple have made no announcements.

Admiring the fabulous look, Khloe Kardashian wrote 'Kween', while celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe added 'beyond stunning.' JLo's make up artist, Mary Philipps, commented with a string of heart-face emojis.

Accompanying her, Affleck looked sharp in a black coat, navy trousers and smart shoes.

The movie sees JLo playing a superstar singer - a casting which she called 'meta' - who is due to marry her celebrity boyfriend onstage, when she finds a snap of him cheating on her.

Hurt and embarrassed, she makes a rash decision to marry a random audience member - who happens to be a maths teacher single dad, played by Owen Wilson.

The film so far has gathered hugely positive reviews, and has been likened to the fun, 'breezy' rom-coms of the '90s, with a killer soundtrack.

JLo has been uncharacteristically open in recent interviews about her current happiness with Affleck, who she got together with last summer after an eighteen-year hiatus.

The couple first fell in love in 2002 and were set to marry in September 2003 - but it was postponed due to 'media intrusion' and they split the following January.

Now, however, love is apparently lovelier the second time around, with Bennifer appearing on red carpets for each others' premieres, and seemingly locked in a permanent PDA, regardless of onlookers.

Lopez recently told People Magazine, "It's a beautiful love story that we got a second chance." She went on to reveal that the couple had "a little bit of fear," due to the factors that caused them to split the first time.

"Before, we kind of put it out there and we were naïve and it got a little trampled," she explained. This time, she went on, "We both were like, 'Wow, we're so happy and we don't want any of that to come into play again.'

"We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things. We're so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us.

"I just feel very happy and lucky to be in a relationship that's happy and loving, and I want to do everything I can to protect that and keep it safe. It deserves that, it really does. … We hold it sacred," JLo continued. "It's beautiful the way it feels very different than it was years ago. … There's more of an appreciation and a celebration for it, which is nice…

"When you find somebody and you really, really love them and you get a second chance at that? That is a really rare, precious, beautiful thing and we don't take it for granted."

Of Affleck she added, "I'm so proud of the him, I'm so proud of the man he's become that I've watched from afar. Being honest with each other, being loving, that's just the basis of everything."

Surely once the promotion for Marry Me is out of the way, it might be a case of... marry me?
