Jennifer Lopez is no stranger to a show-stopping moment as a global music icon and Hollywood actress, but even by these already impressive standards her latest birthday bash takes things to a new level.
To celebrate her 55th birthday, J Lo threw an incredible Bridgerton themed birthday party and shared clips of the fabulous evening on her Instagram account.
Jennifer's birthday was on Wednesday (24 July) and this year she went all out with a spectacular themed party for her guests. The event was complete with horse drawn carriages, live musicians, traditional dances, a multi-tied cake and, of course, a spellbinding gown which would be the envy of all the Ton. J Lo can also be seen singing into a mic, suggesting she treated guests to a live performance of her own.
In a separate post the morning after her birthday (Thursday 25 July), the star shared two snaps of her in her pyjamas and a happy birthday headband in front of her dramatic cake. In a caption, Jennifer wrote a heartfelt thanks to all of her fans and those who had supported her along the way.
"Thank you for your caring, your understanding, your loyalty and most importantly your love," she wrote. "I still feel like the same girl starting out so full of energy and bravado, so ready to take on the whole world on the outside and yet so tender, fragile and sometimes frightened but always full of love on the inside."
