ITV I'm A Celebrity's Dean McCullough comes to blows with Alan Halsall after rule break
Following a relatively calm first week in the Australian jungle, viewers have witnessed the first fallout of the series as Dean McCullough and Alan Halsall come to blows following the campmate's latest rule break.
Previously, viewers saw Dean move from the main camp to the junkyard, which was more luxurious than the new residents Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles had their fellow contestants believe. As Dean joined them, the Radio 1 host was also tasked with assisting them with their secret challenge.
If they successfully pulled the wool over the other campmates' eyes that they were slumming it, they would win a junk food buffet for the entire camp. Tonight's episode saw them successful, and after enjoying a generous portion, Dean decided to take a nap.

However, there were still camp chores to be done. Earlier in the week, camp leaders Tulisa and Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall divided up the tasks. Jane went to collect the firewood but declared, "I can't do it on my own."
Noticing that Dean seemed to be skipping out on his fair share, Alan tried to wake him up and convince him to get to work. However, a sleepy and disorientated Dean was left less than impressed at being woken and hardly stirred as Alan asked him: “ You don’t fancy it? No?”.
When he got little response from Dean, Alan decided to go down with Jane to help her so she wasn’t alone. As Dean headed to join Alan and Jane, he said to Alan: “ You can go back now.”
Alan explained: “I was trying to wake you up as soft as I could.” This led to Dean responding: “Listen to me. If you’re gonna wake me up, you need to give me a minute, alright? It takes a couple of minutes for my contact lenses to get back working again, alright, so you don’t need to turn around to me and say ‘do you not fancy it?’ OK? And then turn around and walk away.”
As Alan explained: “I’ve listened to you, Jane was halfway down here, that’s why I went…” Dean said: “Ok, I get that, but you need to give me a minute, mate.”
Viewers will have to wait to see if the tension rises any further, as fans have already shared theories that Dean has left more than one campmate unimpressed. The DJ has undertaken four trials in a row, saying the infamous phrase "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here" twice, leaving even hosts Ant and Dec disappointed in his performance.
As Dean returned to camp having earned four stars in one trial, some viewers claimed McFly's Danny Jones failed to crack a smile or say anything to Dean and fans of the show admitted he was right to be annoyed.
It was then discovered that Dean had broken one of the show's rules by smuggling contraband into camp. He had stashed away a number of teabags and was seen multiple times on camera trying to add them to the kettle slyly. After fellow radio presenter Melvin Odoom completed a challenge, half of the cupcakes he had won were taken away as punishment.
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! continues tomorrow on ITV from 9pm.
