Issey Miyake and New Balance Officially Announce the MT10O
First teased at the Spring/Summer 2024 edition of Paris Fashion Week, Issey Miyake's collaborative New Balance silhouette has officially been announced. Offering a contemporary take on New Balance's Minimus Trail (MT10) silhouette, the new iteration is dubbed the MT10o and draws inspiration from trail running, movement and "sensuous physicality."
Mimicking the natural shape of a foot, the streamlined silhouette boasts trail-inspired elements with a durable, Vibram-backed outsole and lightly cushioned midsole. Its upper is crafted with a fusion of lightweight mesh and leather, paired with a cord-like shoelace for added grip.
Three colorways have been revealed so far, including white, black and "Blue Green," each crafted with monochromatic tones and yellow Vibram branding.
Check out the Issey Miyake x New Balance MT10O above, slated for release on May 15 in Japan and followed by a wider launch on June 14.
