Interview With the Vampire Releases New Season 2 Trailer Ahead of May Premiere — Watch
Ahead of the show’s Season 2 return on Sunday, May 12, AMC Networks is giving Interview With the Vampire fans a taste of what’s to come with this just-released extended trailer.
Following the Anne Rice drama’s first season, which aired from September to November 2022, Interview With the Vampire rolled right into production on its eight-episode second season. Production wrapped last year in Prague, Paris and New Orleans.

Interview With the Vampire, along with Mayfair Witches, is part of Rice’s Immortal Universe. AMC Networks is “actively developing” a possible third series, written and executive-produced by Oscar nominee John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side). The series would follow the secret Talamasca society, which is featured in several of Rice’s books.

SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE | The show returns Sunday, May 12 on AMC and AMC+.
SEASON 2 CAST | Returning series regulars include Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt, Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy and Assad Zaman as “Rashid”/Armand. Delainey Hayles is taking over the role of Claudia, replacing original actress Bailey Bass, and Ben Daniels is also joining the main cast as Santiago.
SEASON 2 GUEST STARS | Along with David Costabile (Billions), who plays a seasoned TV personality named Leonard, recurring guest stars include Roxane Duran (Riviera) as Madeleine and Bally Gill (Slow Horses) as the real Rashid.
SEASON 2 PLOT | Here’s what to expect from the new season, per AMC’s official logline: “Picking up from the bloody events in New Orleans in 1940 when Louis and teen fledgling Claudia conspired to kill the Vampire Lestat de Lioncourt, Louis tells of his adventures in Europe, a quest to discover Old World Vampires and the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris, with Claudia. It is in Paris that Louis first meets the vampire Armand. Their courtship and love affair will prove to have devastating consequences both in the past and in the future, and Molloy will probe to get to the truths buried within the memories.”
