Inside Phoebe Dynevor's Dreamy Calif. Road Trip — Plus, Her Secrets to a Perfect Drive (Exclusive)
The ‘Bridgerton’ star gave PEOPLE an exclusive look at her recent road trip through Santa Barbara with fiancé Cameron Fuller

Phoebe Dynevor is spilling her secrets to the perfect road trip!
The Bridgerton star, 29, recently drove from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara to enjoy a getaway with her fiancé, Cameron Fuller, in partnership with Audi. Following their trip, the actress told PEOPLE all about the activities she got up to and how she makes the most of any long drive.
“Road trip essentials for me are definitely some snacks, a great playlist, and a fully charged phone,” Dynevor says, noting that she prefers to drive an electric car like the Audi Q8 e-tron because she doesn't have to "worry about filling up my tank.”
She adds, “It's by far my favorite car I've ever had.”

While reminiscing about her recent California getaway, the British-born actress also revealed which region is at the top of her road trip bucket list.
“I'd love to do a road trip around the U.K. as there's so much of the country I haven't explored yet,” she tells PEOPLE.

She already has some experience with longer drives, however, as she notes that one her favorite road trips to date was when she drove up the California coast from L.A. all the way to San Francisco.
“It's an incredibly beautiful drive and there's so many great spots to stop by on the way,” she says of the nearly seven-hour journey.

Dynevor's recent drive with her fiancé didn’t take nearly as long as her trip to Northern California. The two traveled a few hours up to Santa Barbara to unwind at Rosewood Miramar Beach.
“A major highlight was watching the sunset with a cocktail at Miramar Beach Bar and seeing a pod of dolphins swim very close to the shore,” she says. “We wanted to relax as much as possible, so we spent some time on the beach.”
The actress adds that they both “had wonderful massages, and I ended the trip with an incredible facial.”

Photos from their getaway show the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean that they got to enjoy along their journey, as well as the waterfront vista they took in while staying at the resort.

While fans know Dynevor for her portrayal of Daphne in Netflix’s hit series Bridgerton, the actress has been busy working on a number of other projects after she confirmed she would not be returning for season 3, which premiered this past May.
In addition to starring in the 2023 film Fair Play, Dynevor has been working on two upcoming projects: a thriller, Anniversary (which also stars Mckenna Grace and Zoey Deutch), as well as the spy film Inheritance, out Jan. 24, 2025.
She confirmed her engagement to Fuller in May 2024 when she shared a photo of her reaction to the sweet moment on her Instagram Stories.
