Inside the Olson Kundig-Designed Townhouses in Park City’s Newest Members-Only Community
Members-only clubs are coming back in a big way, and this private mountain community at Utah’s highly anticipated Deer Valley East Village is bound to take Park City by storm. When it debuts, Deer Valley East Village will be North America’s first new alpine village in over 40 years. The development will add over 5,700 acres of ski terrain, 16 new chairlifts, a 10-person gondola, and access to four new peaks.
Marcella, one of the master planned resort community’s most exclusive enclaves, has announced a new luxury townhome development known as Marcella Landing at Deer Valley—and Robb Report got a first look inside. Seattle-based architecture firm Olson Kundig is designing the forthcoming project, which will encompass 50 private residences that include a Marcella Ski Membership. Though construction on the community is not slated for completion until 2026, the first phase of townhomes has already hit the market, with prices starting at $6.9 million. In addition, Olson Kundig will be designing The Landing, a modern year-round clubhouse, and Marcella Lodge, a private ski-in, ski-out lounge.

Each of the abodes will measure up to 5,000 square feet in size and feature a two-car garage and snowmelt driveway. Naturally, you’ll have views of the ski resort from your glass-walled great room. Each residence with have a slew of chic perks too, including a fitness and spa area decked out with a dry sauna, a cold plunge, and an outdoor hot tub. Plus, The Landing clubhouse includes access to Deer Valley Resort amenities such as a ski valet, equipment storage, day lockers, mountain biking facilities, and an outdoor playground.
“Working with Olson Kundig has been an incredible experience for our team,” adds Beth Armstrong, managing director of Marcella. “We chose Tom Kundig because of his understanding of mountain architecture and his impressive work in Utah, specifically Wasatch House. His ability to blend modern design with the natural landscape is exactly what we envisioned for Marcella. We can’t wait to see how his vision will elevate the living experience here at Deer Valley.”
