Inside life of Anthony J Abraham as he joins Death in Paradise as Officer Benjamin
Anthony J Abraham is well known for his starring role as Artie on the action-adventure family series Theodosia and appearing on BBC hit series Bad Education alongside show’s creator Jack Whitehall and Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams.
Despite being in the public eye, the star appears to live a more private life with fans not knowing much about his real life.
The actor’s passion for acting sparked while he was in secondary school, where his drama teachers encouraged him to participate in school productions at the age of 16.
He later enrolled in acting courses with Identity School of Acting and shortly after he landed his first agent and began auditioning for serious roles.

The star will be joined by Sergeant JP Hooper actor Tobi Bakare, who will be returning to the island, as well as Kaos actress Michelle Greenidge, Dreamland's Joy Richardson and Boiling Point's Stephen Odubola.
The 14th season of the BBC hit show has made a return to our TV screens and the show will have an entirely different feel as the island welcomes a new detective following DI Neville Parker's departure, with DI Mervin Wilson being introduced in the 2024 Christmas special.
The synopsis for the new season reads: "Following the recently cracked case of ‘who shot the Santas?’, along with the revelation that his estranged mother has passed away, Mervin is ready to get back home and leave the island for good.
"But when a case close to the hearts of those at the station presents itself, is he tempted to extend his stay? As Mervin continues to ruffle feathers, the police team pulls together to solve some of the island’s most confounding cases yet."
Death in Paradise's brand new series is coming to BBC and iPlayer from Friday 31 January 2025 at 9pm
