Inside ITV Corrie star Elle Mulvaney's life off-screen including famous ex-boyfriend

Elle Mulvaney has been a regular on our TV screens for over a decade after taking on the role of Amy Barlow in Coronation Street in 2010. The actress, 22, was just 10 years old when she became the eighth star to portray Amy, taking over the role from fellow child actor Amber Chadwick.

Elle has remained on our screens ever since and has taken on numerous storylines as the daughter of Corrie legends Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow. Amy has recently been embroiled in a dark cult storyline, finding help from her mum, Tracy.

Amy, who hails from Bury, stared acting through the Carol Godby Theatre Workshop, which she began attending when she was just four years old. Elle's life is worlds away from her on-screen character's, with the actress regularly enjoying lavish holidays and getting glammed up for fun nights out.

She regularly gives fans a glimpse into her life off-screen over on her Instagram account, which is littered with stunning selfies and behind the scenes snaps. Elle is also super close with several of her Corrie co-stars in real life, including Harriet Bibby, who plays Summer, and Jack James Ryan, who portrays Amy's boyfriend Jacob Hay in the soap.

Elle was dating =a familiar face to many as he previously appeared in Coronation Street – actor Liam Scholes. Many will recognise Liam as Noel McManus in Waterloo Road and he's also starred in episodes of Peaky Blinders. However it was reported that they sadly split earlier this year.

Liam and Elle went public with their romance at the end of 2022 after being spotted on a date together at London's Winter Wonderland in December. Soon after, they confirmed their relationship with a loved-up snap on Instagram.

Elle had opened up to OK! about her beau, branding him "brilliant" and gushing over how "supportive" he is.
