Influencer Sarah Nicole Landry is ‘joyfully’ living in her ‘ever-changing’ body
Sarah Nicole Landry is finding joy in her "ever-changing" body.
The Canadian influencer, also known as The Birds Papaya, wrote an inspirational body positive message on Instagram on Friday, pairing the post with a carousel of photos where she's rocking a pink bikini top and orange bottoms.
"It fascinates me. Truly. That I bought into an idea — an empty promise, if I'm being honest — that happiness came from changing my body," penned the "Papaya Podcast" host. "I changed it so much, chasing that joy. Imagine the shock when it just didn’t meet me there."
The mother-of-four oozed complete confidence in her natural and unedited photos, showing off her stretch marks, curves and cellulite to her fans.
Fans loved Landry's post, noting the inspiration that radiates from her writing.
"You are so brilliant in everything you write. You literally save lives," wrote blogger Laura Mazza.
"You are a wordsmith and a warrior," commented designer Hayley Paige Gutman.
"This is so beautiful. Writing this out and taping it to my mirror to see every morning," replied one fan.
"You are truly what this world needs," another claimed.
"I love the way you make me feel better about my body," one fan added. "You are truly beautiful."
"You help me see my own body as beautiful because I see how beautiful you are," someone chimed in.
Other fans even added in real-life examples to show how difficult a person's relationship with their body can be.
"I have hated my body since I was a teenager. Having kids young left me with stretch marks and a not-so-flat stomach," one fan revealed. "You have truly helped me to learn to love the skin I'm in."
Another person commented that they heard a child the day previous day say they don't need ice cream because they were on a diet. "My heart broke because that's around the same age my body issues started," the user added.
In her caption, Landry explained that shifting her mindset on body image wasn't easy work. She recalled adopting new beliefs, taking a chance on the possibility of change and suffering through grief to get to where she is today.
"My joy is not limited by my body, but I can live joyfully in my body," the influencer finished off the post.
