I'm a design pro — my fave finds from Walmart's trendy new home shop start at $3

The just-launched online storefront has affordable, shockingly stylish furniture, decor and kitchen gear all in one place.

Collage of Walmart products: Mirror, pillows, storage ottoman, runner rug
Walmart is stepping up its home decor game in a big way for 2025 — happy new year, indeed.

New year, new furniture, am I right?! Okay, that may not be everyone's motto, but as a longtime home editor, I always have to fight the urge come January not to overhaul my house with fresh finds. This year, the shopping is more dangerous than ever because Walmart just opened a new online storefront, the New & Trending Home Shop. It corrals all of the retailer's most stylish, affordable decor and kitchenware in one place.

How can I resist buying a cute table lamp when it costs only $11? Or a plush velvet bench that's under $90? Seriously, someone please take my credit card for safekeeping. In the meantime, I'll live vicariously through you, dear reader, as you add all the great buys to your cart.

With pieces starting at just a few bucks — yes, you read that right — this shop has oodles to choose from, so I've narrowed down the options to my 15 favorites. These finds have that "quiet luxury" look everyone loves, and they'll instantly refresh your space. Happy shopping!

No joke, I almost spit out the water I was drinking when I spied this stylish vase. The ribbed glass is very on trend, and the color reminds me of the Pantone 2025 Color of the Year, Mocha Mousse, which we'll be seeing everywhere!

At just over 5 inches tall, this petite pick is just the right size for a couple of stems of your favorite flower.

This highly rated rug has a low pile and is made of stain-resistant yarn, so it's perfect for areas that get a lot of foot traffic like your entryway. And if it does get stained, you can simply toss it in the washing machine.

If I didn't know better, I would think this delicate arched mirror was from Anthropologie. Prop it up on your mantel or dresser to add some vintage-inspired flair.

This little looker would light up your space in more ways than one. The rope-wrapped based has tons of texture and would fit right in to nearly any space, whether your style skews farmhouse, rustic, traditional, beachy or somewhere in between.

Drew Barrymore's Beautiful line of kitchenware is a Yahoo editor favorite, and her tableware is just as delightful. Who'd want to hide their drinking glasses behind closed cabinet doors when they're as pretty as these?

The cornflower blue would make drinking even water feel special. Cheers to that!

Between its rounded shape and rich ebony finish, this nightstand is so 2025. A hidden USB port lets you charge your phone while you sleep. Dreamy!

One great way to warm up the look of your house is to add natural materials. This tray is covered in burlwood, which comes from a tree's knots and growths — and is beloved by decorators for its unique swirling pattern.

I recently spoke with new Queer Eye star designer Jeremiah Brent, and he predicted burlwood will be in this coming year.

My favorite ottoman! I have written about this ottoman many times, and I've yet to get over its playful curved shape and cozy bouclé upholstery. This cream color would go with any furniture, but it also comes in sage green and blush if you prefer a pop of color. Go ahead and stash your extra throw blankets inside.

I'm loving the maximalist look that has taken over this past year, where people mix different patterns and colors for a more-is-more vibe. These cotton pillow covers would be so fun mixed with a vibrant sofa, but they work if you like a more neutral palette too. Just slip them over throw pillows you already own for an instant makeover.

Talk about sitting pretty! Part of Ree Drummond's new furniture line, this sofa looks impressively like a reupholstered find from a vintage shop.

When I interviewed her about the collection, she said, "I've always been drawn to a soft, washy velvet and a tufted back. This sofa is gorgeous, as it can be an accent piece in an entry or bedroom, or it can be mirrored with an additional/second sofa in a living room for a really stunning seating area."

Who needs a big ol' centerpiece on your dining table when you have candles? Just a few elegant tapers can do wonders for ambiance, and these gold-finish candle holders look like heirlooms in the making.

This price is for one medium-size holder; you can also score the pair for $17.

With its distressed terracotta finish, this decorative bowl looks like something you picked up in a desert market on vacation. I'd leave it on my coffee table or display it on open shelves to break up stacks of books and framed photos.

Welcome to Emerald City! Green is set to be one of the most popular colors this coming year, and this plush velvet ottoman offers a great way to play around with the color without spending a fortune — or repainting.

Use it as a footrest or break it out as extra seating when you have guests.

Calling all you boho babes: This comforter is for you. I have a similarly fringed duvet in my own home, and I love how it looks with my modern metal bed frame and a shaggy, Moroccan-style rug on the floor.

This set is even better than what I own because it comes with a lightweight down-alternative comforter and two pillowcases ... for less than $35. Score!

$33 at Walmart

I am so impressed with Walmart's furniture game. The pieces look far more expensive than they are — just check out the beautiful shape and honey-wood finish of this bookcase. We could all use extra storage, and this slim piece can help you make the most of your vertical space.
