Iceberg Fall 2025: Knitwear Tradition Revisited

At Iceberg, creative director James Long zeroed in on the brand’s storied expertise with a coed lineup of beautiful and cozy cocooning knits.

Ribbed sweaters came with sailor collars, and an oversized knit was embellished with wool panels on the shoulders, creating an intriguing contrast. There was a mariniere undercurrent in several knits with maxi stripes.

There were also several tailored looks, fluid low-waist pants, pretty jackets worn over ruched chiffon blouses and statement coats, some with metallic eyelet details or eco-leather piping. Many of these designs featured a checkered motif, recurrent throughout the collection. For a more casual look, there were bonded cardigans worn over soft denim pants — also a fabric Iceberg has long worked with.

The sense of fluidity and ease came from dainty, pleated mini or knee-length skirts.

Long also played with layering in a collection that was solid, wearable and fun.
