I scrolled through 12,000+ Nordstrom new arrivals for December — here, my 11 picks

Madewell, Rothy's, Adidas, Mango: Elevate your cold-weather closet with these cozy and stylish designs courtesy of Nordstrom.

The holiday season is finally here! So it's time to shop until you drop (onto the couch with a Christmas movie that is). While you may have snagged some epic deals during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, you don't want to miss out on all the new arrivals at Nordstrom. Full of fresh styles from fan-favorite brands like Madewell, Adidas and Rothy's, I scoured pages and pages of offerings and added more than a few to my cart. And as a shopping editor, I don't get impressed that easily.

This month, you likely have both cold weather and festive gatherings on your calendar, so I have rounded up 11 winners — starting at just $24 — worth bringing home to help you get through the busy season. From cozy sweaters that feel special to chic boots that'll withstand nasty weather, Nordstrom is the place to go. You're sure to find some holiday gifts too.

P.S. If you didn't satisfy your deal fix during Black Friday, Nordstrom's Cyber Week deals are still going strong.

There is nothing more quintessentially winter than a cable knit sweater. This wool-blend style from Madewell feels fresh, thanks to its polo neckline and oversized fit.

I plan on wearing it mostly with jeans and boots, but could also see myself dressing it up with a skirt and tights for a holiday gathering.

Mary Jane's made quite the comeback this year, and they are, frankly, better than ever. These square-toed MJs from Rothy's are everything you'd want in a flat: comfortable, supportive, flexible and, to top it off, machine-washable.

While they come in eight colors, I love this metallic option for the holiday season and beyond. How cute would these be with a festive dress this month and then jeans after the holidays wind down?

When I first spotted this bucket bag on Nordstrom's site, I figured it would be well over $250, so imagine my delight in seeing it was $70. From the flip-lock closure to the structured bottom and contrasting stitching, it looks way more expensive than it is. I appreciate the adjustable crossbody strap and the faux leather, so I don't have to be too precious with it.

Chocolate brown is one of the most popular colors of the season, and I'm all in. If you're tired of your jeans, this elegant maxi is a fun way to mix up your winter outfits. Wear it with a pretty blouse to your office's holiday party or toss a chunky sweater on top for lunch with friends. It has just the right amount of shine to feel festive without much effort.

You can score this skirt in 11 colors, but grab your favorite fast; select shades are selling out quickly!

If your lips are constantly cracking during the colder months, you're not alone. To soothe and heal a dry pout, I swear by Sara Happ's lip products. This festive duo includes the brand's exfoliating sugar scrub to help get rid of any flakes and a shimmery lip gloss that adds shine while nourishing your lips.

Grab this sweet set for yourself or gift it at your white elephant exchange.

Everyone needs dependable waterproof boots during the winter that they can wear with everything, and Dolce Vita is here with just the pair. These leather pointed-toe beauties have a comfortable 2-inch heel and will keep your toes dry from rain or icy slush.

Snag the Shadies in black, brown or cream before the winter weather hits!

Bored of your current ring stack? Elevate yours with this twisted beauty. The intricate design features three 18-karat gold-plated rings that are all connected. Timeless and trendy — a match made in heaven. Whether you're treating yourself this month or need a great gift for a friend, you won't regret snagging this wallet-friendly piece of jewelry.

While your closet is likely full of crewneck and turtlenecks, consider giving this off-the-shoulder style a whirl. Both cozy and flirty, the sweater is wildly soft and the easiest way to dress up denim. Or you can pair it with a silky midi skirt for an evening out.

It also comes in black and brown, but this crisp winter white feels so fresh.

I'm a huge fan of Phlur's Vanilla Skin scent, so I knew I'd be buying the brand's Coconut Skin fragrance the moment I saw it. Phlur's hair and body mists are great for those who want to try a new perfume without investing too much money. And while this is a mist, it stays on the skin for hours and wears beautifully.

Coconut Skin has notes of caramel gelato, white florals and sandalwood on top of, you guessed it, coconut.

Furbish is my secret weapon when it comes to holiday gifts. This homeware brand sells the cutest table linens and accessories at affordable prices, so I plan on gifting this fabric coaster set to a few friends this year. If you want to go big, spring for the coordinating napkins and tablecloth to give your loved one a full tablescape.

$28 at Nordstrom

I live in white sneakers during the warmer months, so this season, I've been hunting for a comfortable kick that feels seasonally appropriate. This burgundy Adidas pair fits the bill — it even has a hint of corduroy. I'm also eyeing the green and pink combo (which would be an awesome gift for any Wicked fan).
