A woman isn't getting her husband a conventional gift this Christmas.

Instead of opting for something safe like a pair of socks, Bruna Dias has decided to give her hubby a hall pass for one night only. The 29-year-old hopes the "night off" will allow her partner Matheus Caetano, 30, to enjoy a sense of freedom.

The pair are childhood sweethearts, who met aged 13 and 14 respectively, and have been married for three years. This means the evening of fun will really help to shake things up.

Bruna doesn't plan to go frolicking herself, though. Instead, the Brazilian beauty queen will stay at home "like a good wife" who doesn't complain about her partner cheating.

She explained: “The idea came at Matheus’ request. He wants complete freedom to go out after the holiday dinner and do whatever he wants.

"As well as to return whenever he chooses, without any 'complaints' from me. It’ll be a night without me, with him enjoying himself however he pleases. He can sexually be with whoever he wants. I’ll be at home, waiting like an old-fashioned wife. It’s my Christmas gift to him.”

Bruna believes the unconventional present will help to bring them closer – as it allows her husband to let off some steam. She said: “Matheus asked for this night off with such excitement that I couldn’t say no. I know that for him this represents a kind of freedom that’s also important in a relationship.

“Sometimes, letting the other person feel free is the best gift we can give. I believe that allowing space for these experiences, these small gestures of trust, makes a real difference in our marriage.

“These actions strengthen our partnership and remind us how good it is to be together. After all, every relationship needs freedom and respect to last.

“By offering this break on Christmas, I hope to reinforce trust. It’s a symbolic gift to show him that he has freedom but he knows where his home is.”

Bruna's only ask is that she can "know every detail" about what goes on. She likes hearing about her husband's antics as it gets her "super turned on".

She's also hoping to receive a treat in return. She said: “He also said he’d get me a wonderful gift. On Christmas day, we’ll spend part of the evening with family, then he will have his free time! But I haven’t told anyone about it, if I told them they’d be shocked.”

Meanwhile, Matheus added: “I’m really looking forward to my Christmas 'free time'! For the first time, I’ll enjoy part of Christmas without my wife, and I hope to have a great time.”
