Huntley Won 'The Voice' Season 24, But Ruby Leigh Fans Have One Major Request

Get on your feet, folks: It's time to give it up for The Voice season 24 champion Huntley!

After three months of wondering who would win the latest installment of the NBC series, fans finally got their answer during the two-night season 24 finale. Throughout the broadcast, viewers watched as competitors Huntley, Ruby Leigh, Jacquie Roar, Mara Justine and Lila Forde vied for the top spot with the help of their coaches Reba McEntire, John Legend and Niall Horan (fellow mentor Gwen Stefani had no competitors in the finale).

But as Jacquie, Mara and Lila were eliminated from the competition, it all came down to Huntley and Ruby. In the end, similar to the results of season 23 back in May, Team Niall clinched the top spot and Huntley was declared the winner.

"The moment #TheVoice winner was revealed. 🥹," read the show's official caption of the winning moment posted on Instagram. "CONGRATS AGAIN @huntleymusic and @niallhoran!! 🤩✨#TeamNiall."

While many fans were ecstatic to see Huntley win, Ruby's followers had some thoughts. They rushed to congratulate Huntley, of course, but they also asked Ruby's coach Reba to give her a chance to continue working in the music industry.

"Congrats to Huntley he was consistent and amazing. Second year for Niall also awesome. Reba make something happen for Ruby Leigh," one person begged on Instagram. "Ruby was amazing, not one bad note, she picked great songs should [have] won but she will not have a problem finding someone to sign her Reba let's get Ruby a contract," another replied. "Reba went to the stage while everyone was hugging and congratulating Huntley and she walked straight to Ruby — she’s gonna make it," a different viewer agreed.

While we don't yet know if Reba and Ruby will continue working together post-Voice, Huntley has expressed how much he appreciated Niall's guidance throughout the show. Shortly after the season finale aired, Huntley told Entertainment Tonight that he loved how dedicated Niall was to seeing him grow — even as the star was off performing his own music in between live shows.

"Whenever I feel like I'm too busy or complaining about this process, I kind of just think back and I'm like, 'This dude's literally flying around the world and still messaging me back on my emails,'" he told the outlet. "It's pretty cool — I respect it very, very much."

Congrats, Huntley—we can't wait to see what's next!
