'Humiliated' Kim Kardashian looks sombre as she's pictured for first time since Taylor Swift dropped diss track
Kim Kardashian appeared sombre and maintained a straight-faced expression as she emerged from swanky Beverly Hills restaurant E Baldi on Thursday evening.
Just hours later, pop icon Taylor Swift seemingly reignited her longstanding feud with the KUWTK star, 43, by releasing the ultimate diss track on her new album.
Taylor, 34, dropped her new album The Tortured Poets Department at midnight ET on Friday, before making the shock announcement of a 'second instalment,' titled The Anthology, featuring an additional 15 songs.
Among the tracks is a song titled thanK you aIMee, which Swifties are now convinced is about Kim, noting that the letters K, I, and M are highlighted in the title.
Fans examined the lyrics on Taylor's new album for any hints of her animosity towards former lover Matty Healy who's family has since spoken out about the track rumoured to be about him.
However, it didn't take long to work out who the song thanK you aIMee was about, as Taylor seemingly takes a swipe at Kim, with her name clearly spelled out in the track’s title.
The lyrics detail Taylor’s experience with a cruel bully, who threatens to “push me down the stairs at school”, and pokes fun at her on a regular basis.
Taylor sings: “And it wasn't a fair fight, or a clean kill/ Each time that Aimee stomped across my grave/ And then she wrote headlines/ In the local paper, laughing at each baby step I'd take.”
It continues: “I wrote a thousand songs that you find uncool/ I built a legacy which you can't undo/ But when I count the scars, there's a moment of truth/ That there wouldn't be this, if there hadn't been you.”
When Kim, who recently returned from a sun-soaked trip to Turks and Caicos, was spotted leaving the restaurant on the night of the album release, she kept her head down and appeared sombre as she pursed her lips together and kept her eye line low.
But the star, 43, looked as glamorous as ever in a figure-hugging black dress which she paired with a statement leopard-print accessory.
She wore her iconic glossy locks in a sleek, straight fashion while she opted for her usual glamorous makeup look with lashings of gloss highlighting her perfectly plump pout.
A source told DailyMail.com: "Taylor has humiliated Kim, and she knows that there is nothing she can do about it. Kim got what she feared was coming to her eventually, and is now backed in a corner because she knows Taylor’s army will destroy her if she says anything.
"She is going to stay silent and hopes it will go away – but her friends know that it has only just started."
Rushing to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss the track, fans have described the song as "The ultimate f**k you."
Another said: "OMFG thanK you aIMee is about Kim Kardashian. This album is SO unhinged."
Many are now filling the comment sections on Kim's social media accounts with 'thanK you aIMee' and snake emojis.
But it's no secret that Taylor and Kim aren't exactly best pals. The two celebs have been at odds for nearly ten years, with Taylor recently reigniting the drama by sharing how it affected her.
She claimed Kim "psychologically tore her down" and labelled the reality star and her ex-hubby Kanye West as "trash".
The row all started when Kim jumped to Kanye's defence after he wrote vulgar lyrics about the singer. However, the feud has remained strong and even managed to outlast Kim and Kanye's marriage.
