Huge movie star's lookalike son appears on the red carpet - but true fans quickly figure out who his famous dad is
It’s not unusual for movie stars’ children to support them on the red carpet and the premiere of new Marvel film Venom: The Last Dance was no different. The event took place in London on Wednesday night and was attended by an array of A-List celebrities, and their families.
16-year-old Louis Thomas Hardy, son of Tom Hardy, was seen at the event to support his father. However, before even knowing his names, it was simple for fans to figure out who his famous dad was by his lookalike features, such as his sharp jawbone and bright blue eyes.
Louis is Tom’s eldest child, who he shares with his ex partner, Rachael Speed. The couple met on set of the historical miniseries The Virgin Queen in 2005 and were together for four years before calling it quits in 2009.

Supporting his dad and his leading role in the new Marvel movie, Louis looked dapper in a denim aviator jacket, opting for the double denim look with dark denim jeans with a pair of brown UGG boots.
Tom has three children in total, sharing two children with his wife, Peaky Blinders star Charlotte Riley. The couple tied the knot in 2014, in a ceremony in the South of France. A year later, they welcomed their first child, a baby girl, but have not revealed her name publicly. Their second child, a baby boy was born in 2019.
The Dark Knight Rises star opts to keep his children out of the public eye, although has opened up about his life as a dad in various interviews. In 2018, he opened up about his parenting priority in an interview with Esquire, which was giving his children a childhood than he had in East London.

“In trying to protect my children, I’ll probably give them their own dose of problems,” he said. “But I don’t want them to go through what I went through,” he said. Despite his endless number of roles in the industry, Tom revealed that: “There is no harder and more important job on the planet than parenting.”
The star has also opened up about how the birth of his son Louis helped him to get sober. The actor, who has been open about his past struggles with alcohol and substance abuse told Hello! Magazine : "It's the best thing I could have wished for. I was very self-indulgent for a long time and I was only thinking about my own stupid stuff and myself. Having a child lifts you out of that selfish behaviour.
"I take great pride in being a father and make sure I'm there for him and helping him as he makes his way in the world,” he added.
