After all, the dangerous waist-high split practically left the model’s nether regions on full display and left us all wondering how on earth she managed to wear underwear - or if she even did.

In a nutshell, there was more to Bella’s Alexandre Vauthier dress than met the eye. The custom-made gown boasted a built-in silk bodysuit that kept her decent, which was kept hidden thanks to yards of tape.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, Sulcer revealed that she and Bella had worked with the designer to plan “every aspect of the dress.”
“Bella and I are very focused and organised,” she said. “We start talking about ideas and how we want her to look on the red carpet very early. It takes time to create a strong look and vision.”
And a strong look they created. Whatever anyone’s opinion on the dress, it got everyone talking and will go down in history as one of the most wow-factor frocks at Cannes - no small feat.
