Houseof launch unused lighting collection & it's full of hidden gems
Climate-friendly lighting brand Houseof has just launched a new collection to give disused lighting a second lease of life.
The brand's special capsule collection, Rehoused, focuses on sourcing vintage, antique and forgotten lighting, and each one is completely unique with every dent, dink, and detail telling a story.
Partnering with curators and designers across Europe to find the best and most unique pieces, each fixture has been lovingly restored by Houseof's team of talented artisans. From Art Deco table lamps to industrial Danish pendants, all lighting in the collection meets modern safety standards while maintaining its original charm and character.
'We are really excited about the launch of rehoused at houseof,' says Helen White, Houseof's founder. 'It is a small step towards product circularity with a focus on prolonging the life of undiscovered and unused lighting. And we have worked with some amazing antique and vintage experts and will keep adding to this range as we find hidden gems.'
Some of these gems include fantastic ceiling pendants in bold hues, as well as the fun wiggle table lamp base.
'All of the lights have been lovingly restored, but my favourite pieces are the ones with a little wear and tear, which I think add character,' Helen tells House Beautiful.
